Gameplay

Magic Research 2 has quite unique gameplay. True to the name of the game, you will become a researcher of magic. Create new types of skills to serve your dreams. It can be support magic, recovery magic or attack magic such as fireballs, water cannons… With the amount of elemental magic available, with just enough mana to cast, you can create countless skills with great uses.

At the beginning of the game, you will need to choose a main magical element. There are four basic types of magical elements: fire, water, earth, and air. With each choice you have a different starting point, this can be considered a choice of game difficulty. The more difficult the elements are to control and combine with other elements, the harder your start will be because it will require a larger amount of mana than what you have available. Usually new players should choose fire or water, these are elements that are easy to use to create new spells.

Special interface

Similar to the first game, Magic Research 2 has a fairly simple interface. This is just a screen divided into main areas:

Below the screen contains information about stats such as mana, elemental levels and menu tabs (Home, Study, Inventory).

How to create new magic?

Magic Research 2 is a magic research game so from the basic elements, you can completely create new magic skills. The simplest way is to select the skills into the merge section, from there the system will automatically create new skills for you. But to be able to use these functions you need to have enough mana. Depending on the element’s proficiency, the amount of mana consumed will increase. But don’t worry too much, the amount of mana will recover over time and increase as you practice and harvest mana from the wild. Fight monsters

Usually they are just Slimes with quite low health and ATK stats. Using these people to test your skills is sometimes difficult to know your advantage. Attacking bosses is also quite an interesting challenge.

Combat in Magic Research 2 is semi-automatic, both will face each other directly. If you launch skills and deal damage continuously, it will be difficult for your opponent to immediately counterattack. Usually the battles are one-sided, you will win with your powerful skill set.
