Worse yet, if you feel like you can’t kill a guy no matter how hard you shoot, it might be because he’s activated “Ammo Sponge” – turning himself into a living punching bag.

Special items

Guns and bullets aren’t enough, Erupt also throws in a whole arsenal of bizarre sidearms, turning every match into a literal war of attrition. Think you’ll only have to deal with grenades and flashbangs like in many other shooters? Wrong, there’s an anti-gravity grenade here – something that can send enemies flying like deflated balloons, creating highlights so easy that the shooter feels guilty.

If you like close combat, there are also weightlifting gloves – an item that allows you to punch your opponent and send them flying as if they were just knocked out of a WWE ring. If you don’t want to fight directly, you can use a super glue trap to turn your opponent into a living statue, standing still in the middle of the battlefield and waiting for a slow death.

There are gadgets that are just meant to troll, like the tracking drone – a tiny drone that hovers over your head, scanning for enemies, but sometimes flies around and accidentally blocks your view. There’s nothing more annoying than being in the middle of a tense shootout and suddenly having a drone hit you in the face.

Map system

While many FPS games try to make their maps huge, Erupt goes in the opposite direction. The maps here are not too big, but are designed to create incredibly funny situations.

• A typical example is the map “Neon Rooftop”, where the rooftops are connected as if born for parkour. If you don’t know how to jump between rooftops, sorry, you’re just a duck waiting to be shot. But if you make good use of the terrain, you can perform assassinations from above, leaving your opponents unable to react.
